Of Cults and Chaos hits Deaf Forever

Today we are proud to present you another great review:

Thank you for 8/10 points and place 24/51 in the Soundcheck to Andreas Stappert and @deaf.forever

English version:

On their third full-length album, the Saarlandian band consistently continues the path of pure epic metal established on its predecessor, “Bow Down” – (without the thrash influences of their debut) — while enriching the sound with heavier, darker, and doom-laden elements. While the spoken-word intro “Lament For The Unknown” is sure to delight Manowar fans in particular, the seven subsequent songs offer greater stylistic variety. The quintet’s audible influences range from Atlantean Kodex and Manilla Road to Sorcerer and Solitude Aeturnus. The compositions’ strengths lie especially in their catchy choruses—sometimes underpinned by monastic-style backing vocals—and in their quiet, epically bombastic passages. Highlights include the doom-laden, stomping “Brotherhood Of Sleep” and the darkly atmospheric “The Forgotten Village.”
