Rock Hard rates Of Cults and Chaos

We are proud to present you another fantastic review, this time from rockhardmagazin Germany.

Thank you for 8/10 points and place 19/46 Jens Peters and Rock Hard!

English translation:

“Into The Grave” (2012) was a solid, adventurous debut, and “Bow Down” (2021) a focused sophomore effort; now, with “Of Cults And Chaos,” the Saarland-based band GRAVETY takes another step forward. The guys deliver the goods for anyone who desires new albums from the likes of Atlantean Kodex or Visigoth. While GRAVETY may not quite be operating at that level just yet, they get a lot right here — from the expansive arrangements that give the material room to breathe and the theatrical (yet never annoying) vocals to the well-balanced production. The countless little details woven into the songs remain captivating even after repeated listens. There is perhaps still room to ramp up the “earworm” factor a notch, but overall, it’s a very strong release!
